Requirements
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Group's research and development strategies and programs.
Manage a grants and funding pipeline targeting in excess of AUD 3 million per annum across Commonwealth, State, philanthropic, multilateral, and UN sources.
Lead partnership development with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, Pacific Island partners, South East Asian partners, and Middle Eastern partners.
Develop and grow the Group's strategic partnerships and programs in Australia, the Pacific (especially Fiji), South East Asia (especially the Philippines), and the Middle East (especially Israel). Integrate research outcomes into the RTO's accredited training products.
Represent Envirotech in government, academic, and multilateral forums.
Lead a matrix team of research officers, project coordinators, and Indigenous engagement officers. Design and lead cross sectoral applied R&D programmes integrating academia, private sector, government and statutory authorities, NGO/CSO partners, and religious and cultural organisations across Australia, the Pacific, South East Asia, and the Middle East.
Conduct formal organisational representation before government, regulatory, and statutory authorities, including engagement on permits, approvals, ethics review, and policy consultation.
Lead the preparation and publication of peer reviewed articles, white papers, technical reports, and policy briefs.
Develop aligned programmes and partnerships across the regions through collaborative project design, partner coordination, and program implementation with internal staff and external collaborators.
